Global Steel Erectors, Inc. has been erecting Structural Steel Buildings and Miscellaneous Metal Fabrications throughout the Southwestern United States since it was established in 1997 by Miguel “Mike” Guerrero and Hermann Kopf. While Mike spearheaded the Field Operations, Hermann would provide the Administration as well as the Estimating. A few years later, their partnership was joined by Ruben Barrios who provided the Project Managing, Safety, and ASIC Certification aspect of the Business.
GSE has been an American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) Certified Company since the year 2000. Accordingly, our operations and quality control systems follow the stringent AISC Standards and certification requirements for an Advanced Steel Erector.
Since our beginning, GSE has successfully completed hundreds of projects across various sectors including Federal Military projects, State and Local Government Public Works projects as well as Private projects.
Our work on military bases is extensive and makes up a sizable percentage of our annual revenue. It includes Air Traffic Control Towers, Bachelor Enlisted Quarters, Administration Buildings, Warehouses with Crane ways, and other complex buildings, from retrofits to new construction.
Some past Public Works projects include K-12 Schools, Colleges and Universities, Libraries, Fire Stations, Police headquarters, etc. We also perform an array of private projects such as Admin Buildings, Medical Office Buildings, Warehouse/Distribution Facilities and Auto Dealerships to name a few.
Our crews are constantly trained and certified related to our Ironworking trade. This includes First Aid, CPR, OSHA 10 & 30 Hour, 24HR Fall Protection, Control Deck Zone, Rigging, Welding, and various Equipment Operation such as Reach Forklifts, Aerial Lifts, and Power Actuated Tools, etc.
